Sean Slotar
Principal Dentist
Sean is the principal dentist at Yokine Dental Centre.
Sean completed his dental training at University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1987. After 10years in private practice, he then went on to completethe Australian Dental examinations in 1998 before migrating to Australia in 1999.
He has also completed courses in Dental Laser, Ozone Therapy and Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.
Sean enjoys the statisfaction of seeing the look on patients faces when that have they see the outstanding results which can be achieved. In addition to this it is done under PAIN FREE circumstances in a professional and friendly enviroment.
Sean's patient base is built solely on patient recommendations and he takes care of each and every patient offering them time and fulfilling their dental expectations.
Ania Simonow
Dentist
Ania has been at Yokine Dental Centre for the last 3 years. She is a valued employee as she has the most amasing attitude to dentistry and her patients.
Ania completed her dental training at UWA in 2003 where she graduated with Honours. She has also completed her Royal Australian Collage of Dental Surgeons examinations. Ania continues her education and has completed course in Dental Laser, Paediatrics, Ozone Therapy and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Ania's treatment room is relaxed and she spends time making sure that you understand all the dental treatment needed.
She enjoys working with children and making sure that their dental experience is positive and enjoyable. Most importantly she makes sure that the next generation of patients are not "scared of the dentist".
Gavin Blyth
Dentist
We are proud to introduce Gavin Blyth to your dental practice. Gavin arrived from Scotland a in August 2007 and has brought an element of fun and English class to our practice.
Gavin graduated from Dundee University in Scotland in 1996. He is an enhanced practitioner with a specialisation in orthodontics. This was completed in 2001. Gavin has completed courses in dental laser and ozone therapy, and has done advanced aesthetic dentistry and restorative implant courses.
Gavin loves dentistry. He cares for his patients on all levels going well beyond the call of duty. Gavin has a stunning accent which we never tire of and the patients who leave his treatment room leave the practice smiling, booking their next appointment.
Gavin has migrated to Australia with his wife Frances and his children Emily and Sam and he looks forward to his first HOT Christmas.
Lara Slotar
Practice Manager
Lara is the practice manager at Yokine Dental Centre, she ensures that everything runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
She makes herself available to all the our patients to ensure that there dental experience runs as smoothly as possible.
Her background marketing,business and public relations which she has brought to Yokine Dental and she takes great pleasure is watching the pratice grow and go from strengh to strengh.
The practice belongs to Sean and Lara and as they spend most of thier time at Yokine Dental Centre they do everything they can to make sure that it is a happy, well-run and successful dental practice.
Lara and Sean have two children, a daughter of 16 and a son of 13 and neither of them want to grow up to be dentists.

Dental Assistants
Our Dental Assistants are fully trained and motivated to maintain the highest standards and regulary attend industry related confrences and seminars. They work well with their dentists and often there is a relaxed "banter" between the dentist and their nurse.Stef, Jodie, Eileen and Rachael are part of our qualified nursing staff team who are here to make sure that your dental experience is positive.
We proud ourself in our Oral Hygine programme and it could not be maid possible without our team of dedicated staff members.
Gabi and Annelise are our two Oral Hyginists, Carmel is one of our dental assistants and Jess runs the sterilisation section at Yokine Dental Centre.All our staff members under go strict training in our sterilisation department. It is essential that each dental room is thoroughly disinfected between each patient.
We have 17 highly qualified staff members ranging between the ages of 18 and 60. Each member is an important part of our team. We work well together and respect each other. Yokine Dental Centre is a progressive, fun practice to work in.
